Synopsis

"Magic Bubble Circus" (or Fanny’s / Randy’s Grand Day at the Magic Bubble Circus) was written for school children between the ages of 6 and 10. There are two songs to be learned and a number of instrumental pieces which can be used for circus acts and incidental music.
The story is about a girl (or boy) named "Fanny" (or "Randy") whose wish for her (his) 10th birthday is to be a clown at a performance of "The Magic Bubble Circus". She / He does not realize that her / his wish is indeed going to come true but her / his family and friends do not let her / him in on the secret they have in mind.

It's a fun project for three main speaking roles and an endless number of circus actors who can be used in the show. The circus acts may be from three to 10, depending on the wishes of the performers. We took a five-day week to rehearse with a performance in the afternoon of the fifth day. The children involved really enjoyed working on the show. The parents were absolutely thrilled to see their children so enthusiastic and learning so many new skills.
