"Shining Lights"

"Shining Lights" is a song written by Daniel Laubacher for children between the ages of ca. 5 and 11.  It may be used for a variety of performance or learning purposes (i.e., classroom music, concerts, assemblies, etc.) Below is the text:

You can wish upon a star. Make a wish no matter where you are.
All you have to do is find, a twinkling star of any kind.

Shining lights, you're so bright seems like magic, such a wonderful sight.
Shining lights you're just right, smiling happy throughout the night.

 Candles burning warming the dark.
Morning sunrise warming the heart.

Once you have your lucky star, doesn't matter if it's near or far.
You may join us now and here, by wishing everyone a peaceful year.

Shining lights, you're so bright seems like magic such a wonderful sight.
Shining lights you're just right, smiling happy throughout the night.

 Candles burning warming the dark.
Morning sunrise warming the heart.
