MBM Songs for the Classroom
Podcast
The Songs for the Classroom Podcast offers teachers
songs to supplement the learning in the classroom. The
episodes are designed to introduce the songs from
MagicBubbleMusic.com
which may be of interest to teachers in lessons involving
various areas of learning (i.e., global warming, saving the
whale, halloween, Christmas, etc.). Most of the songs were
written for children between the ages of 5 and 12. Ideal is to use the songs in cross-curricular combinations
(i.e., science, environmental studies).
The episodes may be used
in any order since they are not
intended to be chronological. Many of the songs are from
the educational musicals found on the
MagicBubbleMusic.com
website by composer and educator
Daniel Laubacher. Additional materials - song text sheets and
vocal-guitar sheet music (pdf) as well as vocal demos and
instrument practice/performance tracks (mp3) - are available for
free
download to support the lessons.
